The Start

So I recently came back from Amsterdam. The trip was easy to set up thanks to Easy Jets website and apart from a few minor glitches (that gave us some good stories) the trip was a complete sucess and truly one of the best six days of my life. Arriving home made me realise how bored of my small town I had become and how much of the world I had left to see. So I thought about the year ahead of me. Due to complications I could no longer stay in the house I was staying in and had to move, but the extra income from not having to pay rent created opportunities for me.

The original plan was to save until November and relocate to Amsterdam with the money saved as a safety net, but after a bit of joking about between my friends and I, I came up with my new plan, and my new years resolution; To travel to a different place on the last weekend of every month. Thanks to Easy Jets cheap prices (I don't mind using a no frills) this became possible, so I took a look at the destinations they fly to and picked 9 I would like to travel too and incorporated the 3 trips to Amsterdam I already had planned.

I ordered the destinations in those I think work for the time of year I would be visiting (cold countrys in the winter, hot in the summer) and it's now starting to come together. I plan to keep this blog throughout my experience, from the planning stages, to updating the monday I return, To how I feel being back in England after travelling to some of the places I wish to visit. I plan to take and upload as many photos as possible with some available on print for a small price to help fund my next trip.

If anyone, wishes to join me, you are more than welcome, before each trip I will put up my flight details and where I plan to stay. This way those I know can tag along for a weekend or two or anyone I don't know that may want to help my weekend along will be able to check into the same hostel as me and find me, anyone with experience of any places I plan to visit, please contact me with some tips on great places to stay or see. Here is the destination list. I hope you enjoy my blog as much as I hope to enjoy writing it.
